“Cincom L32” high-specification model
Citizen Machinery announced on October 8 that it would add high-specification models designed for
machining complex-shaped parts to both its “Cincom L32” sliding-headstock CNC automatic lathe and “Miyano BNE-65ATC” fixed-headstock CNC automatic lathe. Orders for both models will be accepted starting in February 2027.
In sectors such as AI-related industries, medical, aerospace, and semiconductor manufacturing, demand is growing for the machining of complex-shaped components featuring angled holes, curved surfaces, and similar geometries. By combining a B-axis, an automatic tool changer (ATC), high-speed rotary tools, and low-frequency vibration cutting (LFV) technology, the two models enable complex operations that have traditionally required multiple machines and processes, often involving machining centers, to be performed on an automatic lathe. This reduces workpiece loading and unloading, transfers between processes,

The two models will make their debut at JIMTOF2026, the 33rd Japan International Machine Tool Fair, taking place at Tokyo Big Sight from October 26 to 31. Live demonstrations will include simultaneous 5-axis machining using the B-axis and ATC, precision machining with high-speed rotary tools, and angled-hole machining using LFV technology.
