Nakamura-Tome Precision Industry introduced the JX-250 multitasking machine equipped with a twin turret and the world’s smallest class tool spindle at EMO Hannover 2019.
The tool spindle measures 349 mm in length, which is 22.4% shorter than previous models, allowing for a significantly wider machining range. The spindle offers axis travels of X1-axis 645 mm, Y1-axis ±125 mm, and Z1-axis ±825 mm. The maximum spindle speed reaches 12,000 rpm.
The JX-250 also comes standard with a suite of software solutions, such as the NT Thermo Navigator AI, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve thermal stability.
Additional tools include:
Zero Touch and Smart Support for faster programming
ATC Maintenance Navigator for improved machine maintainability
NT Smart Sign to monitor machine operating conditions
Nakamura-Tome is marketing the JX-250 for use across a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical, and precision machinery sectors.
