TAGUCHi Industrial announced on July 17, 2020 that it would establish a plant in Daisen-cho, Tottori Prefecture, which is dedicated to machining thick plates for hydraulic excavator attachments. The investment amount is not disclosed.
The total floor area of the new plant is about 9,000 square meters, and the new plant will be completed in April 2021. Fusing machines exclusively for thick plates and machine tools for sheet metal will be installed at the new plant. TAGUCHi Industrial aims to expand its market share by establishing an efficient production system, shortening delivery times and increasing production capacity.
The company manufactures the crusher that is mounted on construction machinery to break concrete blocks. Demand for crushers has been growing due to demolition of buildings, infrastructure development, and disaster response.
