New types of cutting inserts
[CA025P]
A proprietary cemented carbide with improved fracture resistance was used as the base material. A multi-layer coating film was formed on the base material by a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. One of them uses newly developed thick-film aluminum oxide. Heat resistance has been improved, and longer service life has been achieved. Steel processing is the main application, and in combination with a breaker, it can cover a wide range from roughing to finishing.
