Epson Sales Japan launches “LS4-C” SCARA robot with cycle time reduced by up to 20%

July 14, 2026

Epson Sales Japan Corporation launched the “LS4-C,” a SCARA robot with a 4-kg payload, on June 26.

Improved productivity through faster cycle times

When paired with the company’s “RC800-A” robot controller, processing speed has been improved, reducing cycle time by up to 20% compared with the previous “LS-B series.” The higher throughput contributes to improved productivity.

Supports advanced automation line construction

The robot supports options including a force sensor and a conveyor tracking function that enables operation on parts while they are being transferred, allowing users to build more advanced and flexible automation lines.

The robot has obtained third-party certification based on international safety standards, providing enhanced safety assurance. It is also designed to Epson’s proprietary quality standards to achieve long-term stable operation.

The lineup also includes the “LS8-C” with an 8-kg payload and the “LS20-C” with a 20-kg payload.
