JIMTOF2020 will be held from December 7 to 12, 2020

Japan Machine Tool Builders ’Association (JMTBA) and Tokyo Big Sight held a press conference in Tokyo on July 18, 2019. Both of them announced the outline of the The 30th Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF2020).

The catchphrase is “Interweaving technologies, changing manufacturing”. JIMTOF2020 will continue for 6 days from December 7 to 12, 2020 at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto-ku, Tokyo. It will be held in December for the first time due to the influence of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The east and west exhibition buildings are all used as usual, and the exhibition area is approximately 98,540 square meters. The number of booths is expected to be 5,500. The number of visitors will exceed 153,000 of the previous exhibition, which was the highest ever.

“The JIMTOF is a mono-zukuri (manufacturing) fair that showcases a great variety of exhibits. We would like to make JIMTOF a place which offers the best solution for visitors.” The exhibition registration period is from October 1 to 31, 2019 for members of organizers and cooperating organizations, and November 1 to 30, 2019 for general. People can only apply through the website as same as previous exhibition.
