Citizen Machinery to expand the floor space of its Thai factory

Citizen Machinery, an automatic lathe builder, announced on October 18, 2021 that it will expand the floor space of its factory in Thailand. The area of the expanded floor space is approximately 4200 square meters. The total floor space after the expansion will be approximately 27,000 square meters. The investment amount is not disclosed. The expansion area will be completed in December 2022.

Citizen Machinery will use the additional floor space to increase the monthly production capacity of the Thai factory by 1.5 times to 350 units. The company will strengthen its production system to meet the upcoming increase in demand.

Citizen Machinery will also establish a new showroom at the Thai factory.
