Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machine Tool will renew the monitoring system DIASCOPE and adopt it as standard in all machine tools sold after April, 2020. The new system processes data collected from sensors and measuring instruments attached to the machine on the premise, and sends machine operation information to a server on the cloud. The quick and highly efficient monitoring can be achieved by using both the on-premise and the cloud. If a problem occurs with the machine, the emergency alert sends to its company’s support center. It is possible to recovery work quickly and reduce machine downtime.
