DMG MORI launches e-learning course on 5-axis machine operation

In October 2021, Sodick released the “LPM325S”, a metal 3D printer capable of high-speed and stable modeling for long periods of time. The LPM325S performs 3D modeling of metal powder and machining of reference surfaces of a workpiece in a single machine. The new machine is equipped with an original unit that can automate powder supply and collection. Therefore, multiple metal powders can be used with one machine. The operator only needs to change the original unit for each kind of powders, and can replace them within two hours. This new machine also significantly increases the capacity of the fume collection system generated during laser processing. The frequency of maintenance has been reduced by half compared to conventional machines. Products
